Non-Card Awesomeness
Collector’s FYI: Need Card Supplies? Look No Further Than Amazon
Oct 28th
Recently I bought two 100 packs of Ultra Pro pages, another 100 pack of pages for mini cards, a 250 count case of #000 bubble mailers (perfect size for single cards or small lots) and finally a case of 10-100ct packs of penny sleeves. All of that cost me about $50. It should last quite a while. For years I had searched places online to buy supplies and usually bought them from the same place I’d buy boxes to gradually reload. What an idiot I feel like now. If you have amazon prime, which is free if you have an .edu email address by the way, you can get free shipping to boot!
Trust me, you won’t do better than this. Especially if you have the Amazon prime account. If you don’t have amazon prime be sure to order more than $25 to get Free Shipping anyway. If you don’t have a .edu email address prime probably isn’t worth it at $75 a year unless you plan to use Amazon quite a bit.

If you aren’t using these…you’re silly. I ordered some and absolutely love them. I’m doing the 2009-10 UD Champ’s Hockey Master set and these pages have been priceless in keeping good track (and care!) of my mini’s.
$19.99 with free shipping isn’t too shabby for 100 pages if you ask me. I ordered three cases. If someone doesn’t need 100 send me an email at cardgeeks@gmail.com or tweet @cardgeeksblog and you can buy a smaller group off of me for cheap of course.

ESPN 30 for 30 Limited Edition Collector’s Set

Amazon.com ran a special for one day only where you could buy this “Collector’s Set” which includes both Volume 1 and Volume 2 and an ESPN baseball cap for $49.99. The set is now $79.99 but well worth it.
My favorite episodes are the story of the USFL and how Donald Trump ran it into the ground, Reggie Miller vs. Spike Lee and the Legend of the Jimmy the Greek. It’s also worth noting that I have only watched SIX of them at this point. Next up “The U”. As a long time Hurricane fan I’m excited for this one even though I despise Michael Irvin.
Anyway at $79.99 this is still a hell of a deal so tell your wives, girlfriends, partners and parents that you want this one for your birthday, anniversary, or christmas because it is a must have.
